The Digital Humanities Conference 2022 will be held fully online.
Registration period
March 07, 2022, 14:00 - July 28, 2022, 13:59 (JST, UTC+9)
March 06, 2022, 19:00 - July 27, 2022, 18:59 (HST, UTC-10)
Payment of the registration fee can only be made by credit card. Registration for the conference by bank transfer has already been closed. All presenters with accepted abstracts are asked to register by July 19, 2022, 13:59 (JST, UTC+9).
Digital Humanities Conference 2022 Registration Fees
All registration fees are tax-exempted.
All fees are charged on JPY basis.
When choosing ADHO Member/ADHO Student fee, you will be asked to enter the ADHO membership number on the Confit registration page. Your ADHO membership number can be found in the confirmation email from the Oxford University Press (OUP) upon subscription. You can become a member from here.
Registration Fees include the full access to the content of DH2022 during July 25-29, 2022.
Please note that you were required to register to the main conference by July 19 2022, 14:00 (JST, UTC+9) to participate in the workshop.
Payment Method
Payment can be made only by credit card.
Following credit cards can be accepted: MasterCard, VISA, JCB, AMERICAN EXPRESS, Diners Club.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation or revision of registration types after completing the registration, please contact the Registration Desk (dh2022-reg@convention.co.jp) before July 21, 2022, 14:00 (JST, UTC+9).
Cancellation received before the deadline (July 21, 2022, 14:00 JST): Full refund minus administrative fee of 2,000 JPY per participant.
Cancellation or revision of registration type received after the deadline for the regular registration (July 21, 2022, 14:00 JST): no refund will be made.
Due to system restriction, amendments of the registered content can only be made by cancellation and re-registration.
In case of amendment requests after the Early-bird Registration Period, you will be asked to re-register with the regular registration fee.
No-shows are not applicable for refunds.
Refunds will be handled by the Registration Desk within 14 days after request, but please note that the timing you will receive the refund depends on the credit card company.
The refunds will be made to the credit card which was used for the payment of registration fees.
Please note that if your credit card is invalid due to expiration or any other reasons, the refund cannot be made.
Disclaimer
The Local Organizers of the Digital Humanities Conference 2022 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in holding the conference where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond their reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question.
If the above-mentioned event happens prior to the start of the conference causing the host secretariat to be unable to hold the conference, it shall refund registration fee in principle excluding costs of proceedings production and other related costs.
Registration Steps
First, you will need to create a Confit account from the link below.
Once you are on the Confit site, please click on the button “Create an Account”, enter the required information, and set up a password for your Confit account.
After entering the information, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link which asks you to confirm your e-mail address.
By clicking the link in the e-mail, you will be led to the Confit account page where you can proceed with registration to the conference.
After completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your Registration Number.
